Iowa State not looking that good but defense is doing alright. Ok state looks pretty good especially fast receivers. I'm skeered.
Yeah, I'm watching ISU right now. Maybe that's a big rivalry with Northern Iowa and they get their best shot from them?
3-0 at the half Iowa State over Northern Iowa. I saw on LHN the other day that somehow ISU has a better chance to play in the Big XII title game than Texas. I'll reserve full judgement until after tonight, but so far, ISU is, well, ISU.
They have to save themselves for the meat grinder that is the SEC. if they were smart they woulda scheduled Texas State or Lamar instead.
They were just disappointed that they weren't ranked in the Top 10 and it is hard to get motivated for any game.
This is why I selected South Alabama as the upset, albeit only with a confidence point of one. Nebraska just has showed a tremendous tendency the past few years to play down to the level of the competition and the results just get UGLY! Its a touchdown game right now, 28-21, in favor of the children of the corn. About a minute to go in the 3rd quarter.
And naturally, as soon as I post that, the corn kids return a fumble to the house to make it a two score game.
College football isn't college football unless Iowa State plays down to Northern Iowa and then plays up to Iowa.
Cyclones headed to OT and Florida state had a chance to stop a drive and couldn’t come up with the gift fumble Boise state inside the 1 looking to take the lead
Memphis put ole miss away 15-10 AAC! AAC! AAC! This is one of the SEC blue bloods that supposedly rounds out the really tough conference schedule that aggy points to “but we have to play ole miss every year”. Not that ole miss is bad. But I’d put hem on par with Texas tech or a Kstate. To be generous. Bfd
