Ole Miss just can't get up to play a non SEC!SEC!SEC! opponent.

3-0 at the half Iowa State over Northern Iowa. I saw on LHN the other day that somehow ISU has a better chance to play in the Big XII title game than Texas. I'll reserve full judgement until after tonight, but so far, ISU is, well, ISU.

 

They have to save themselves for the meat grinder that is the SEC. if they were smart they woulda scheduled Texas State or Lamar instead.

This is why I selected South Alabama as the upset, albeit only with a confidence point of one. Nebraska just has showed a tremendous tendency the past few years to play down to the level of the competition and the results just get UGLY!

Its a touchdown game right now, 28-21, in favor of the children of the corn. About a minute to go in the 3rd quarter.

 

And naturally, as soon as I post that, the corn kids return a fumble to the house to make it a two score game.

This is one of the SEC blue bloods that supposedly rounds out the really tough conference schedule that aggy points to “but we have to play ole miss every year”.
