Watched a segment in 60 Minutes about Lady Gaga and Tony Benett in his final concerts. I just gotta say his live performances moving through the fog of dementia was surprising and touching. I'm a bigger fan than ever of both performers.
Imagine how great Mick Jagger will sound when he is 95. Still touring and doing duets with Beyoncé’s granddaughter
We've been blessed to see Tony several times over the past 15-20 years and it's always been outstanding. I thought the 60 Minutes piece last night was tremendous, and while sad to see his condition and know the Radio City performances appear to have been his last, it gave me goosebumps when he lit up and sang both in stage and when his piano player started playing at the house. Such a treasure - God bless him!
