I've had two autos rear ended in a little over a year by dumbasses like her who were texting or taking selfies or something. They sure weren't paying attention to their driving. The first kid, who was in his early 20s, was going so fast that it totaled my vehicle and sent me to the ER for a check up. He claimed his brakes "failed completely", uh, yeah right. But, at least, unlike the girl in the story, he was smart enough to lie. The second time, another 20 something admitted she'd "just broken up with her BF and was upset" (and probably changing her Facebook status to available when it happened).
Saw that on the news little over a week ago. It even made the Sports Radio channel in DFW. Funny stuff!!
