Tarik Black to the NFL
I wish him well....but doubtful
Anything that helps put 2020 in the rear view is a good thing. Last year was just one mess after another.
Hopefully the new staff can get this team back to its primary purpose. If these team members want to be a football player, then focus on football and your class work. If they prefer to be a social activist, there are plenty of student activist organizations to join. Class work will be optional and the scholarship opportunities limited. Their choice which way they go.
Three of our guys leaving listed in top available players portalling
So, even without the portaled guys for OL, we still have the following (potentially):
Potentially one more late signing guy
We have bodies. In fact, we have enough bodies for 3-deep at some positions. I don't think it's a matter of depth... it's a matter of coaching and who's being utilized properly.
I guess my perception based on how they have been developed and used is there are bodies but the desired level you want for your starters and immediate backup to compete at a high level hasn't been there for whatever reason. My perception is we have for the most part had a starting line that should be your 2nd string level max if you had the room filled out and developed properly. Seems the starters are barely ready enough (serviceable level) and anyone behind them isn't ready.
I agree with your assertion and suspect it is a combo of recruiting and development but mostly development. As I've noted with other guys and positions, I expect we will see some guys we thought were dead weight all of a sudden blossom under this new regime and I hope you are right and this is true for our o line. We do have bodies
Jaylen Green to MissSt
I'm sure he'll learn all sorts of "bend but don't break" from the Pirate and his staff.
I hope he doesn’t bring his fat girlfriend with him.
You forgot little. It's "fat little girlfriend."
Try to keep up.
Like living at the Four Seasons for 3 years then moving into a Motel 6.
I was waiting for someone to complain, for not knowing the reference. Thanks for giving it away, Mr Mueller.
Funnier coach at least
"then moving into a motel 6"
Not that there is anything wrong with motel 6
Yeah, it is only for a year.
Is it me, or do we only get portals out?
Yes. Transfer in, portal out. Every new player we got from another school portalled.
So every player we get as a transfer had to carry a canoe....or wait, never mind.
That would be portage.
Seems Eastern New Mexico would be the place they all end up...
Think about it a while...
Or Utah State.
IT has a "Portal Tracker" for anyone with a question about a specific player
Inside Texas Return/NFL Draft/Portal Tracker - Inside Texas
Schooler's Twitter post about him returning has been deleted (but still has some Texas stuff on his IG)
He maybe headed for the draft
7th round? Maybe? Please.
Bimage and Harrison are back.
Young might be leaving but yet unconfirmed.

Derrian Brown was still on the team but I am not sure of the technical status for him.

I am not satisfied with the CB room after losing a few to draft and portal...but it is what it is. Still not poorest of poor....just not great and not what it could be for next year.
That is only 5 non-freshman bodies for 3+ spots per down and 3 of those with next to no experience. What had looked like a boon has gone bust and that is not good in the Big12
Makes admitting Ibraheem important, I think he was our 2d highest rated recruit in the entire class
He seems to still be recruiting on Twitter for Texas, assuming he's in if case goes well
