We don’t sing this guy’s praise enough. Not flashy but the guy has been solid, and dependable all year. he was a difference maker in several games. Today he was a beast and I am not sure we win without him. Grateful he chose us for his final year of eligibility.
Ingram can learn a lot by watching his film. Does a great job of getting small through the line and finishing plays. That bounce out where he just smashed the georgia defender on our right side was awesome. Ingram was to indecisive today. Think this is a good learning game for him.
I think the announcers said he played 3 years for Cal, started 8 games over that time. Grad transfers to Texas, starts the entire year, finishing his collegiate football career with a Sugar Bowl victory, leads the team in rushing with 91 yards. Sends good message to guys like him out there considering Texas for similar opportunities.
Can we just put him in a different number next year and keep a helmet on him... Let the announcers be all "we don't know much about him other than he has been a resident of Texas for the past two years and he likes to...crochet?!?" Then just let the running game actually happen...
He, at the very least, was motivated by all the talk leading up to the game about how great the Ga. backs were. He walked by the LHN set after the game and was saying something like, "Ask them who has the better backs now".
Tre was an absolute beast. I was very excited when he chose us, but thought he would be more of a receiver, third down guy. He was nails last night, looked like a senior leader not in the least bit intimidated by the vaunted SEC defense. He took some shots, but also delivered a few.
