I was at the A&M game yesterday (was a business invite and got on the field pregame), best word to describe their fanbase is dumbfounded. During the Texas game everyone was watching and rooting for bama. after their game, it was total dejection. This was a team that was supposed to vie for the SEC west. Our game made them worried about our future, their game made the terrified of their own. The Texas envy is still very evident everywhere you go there. When folks are shown on the jumbotron they do the horns down, saw em off hats and tshirts, etc. Their qb is awful and their Dline was getting pushed around by AppState. They have some skill guys but cant get them the ball.
It's usually a slow burn with things like that before a decision to de-commit or transfer, so we'll see where the Ags are a few weeks into conference play.
I won't do it to y'all, but every Aggie I know has or will suffer an "I told you so" for Jimbo demoting Darrell Dickey. 1) Jimbo hires one of the best offensive football minds to be OC/QB coach 2) Jimbo is smarter than everyone else, so he constantly interferes with the offense 3) Jimbo under performs and looks for a scapegoat 4) Jimbo demotes Dickey (working to fill his Texas Retirement pay) in favor of another less experienced coach with ZERO credentials 5) Jimbo's offense gets ***** slapped by a school that 98% of Aggies can't tell you where it is located much less spell it It ain't rocket science, it's Jimbo

It was joked on here or on texags that aggy may make money on NIL in that players may pay A&M to NOT use their name, image and likeness as aggy is now synonymous with a joke.
