Trump Administration Accomplishments

What's all this mean? It's hard to say. Does El Salvador have to turn Garcia over to the US? That depends on the contract we have with them to run this facility. My guess is that the district court can order the government to request Garcia's return but can't order us to use force to compel his return. The judge can also order discovery (sworn testimony, documents, etc.) on the matter.

I think this is about right. But I think neither Bukele or Trump is going to do anything the court says. Rightfully so.

Legally, it's an embarrassment for Trump. They clearly screwed up and are at risk of being in contempt of court. In addition, the taxpayer is almost surely going to have to write out a check to this MoFo.

I don't think anyone in the Trump administration is embarrassed, legally or otherwise. You can say that there is some legal issue with what happened to this one MS-13 gang member, but that's okay at this point. Democrats ignore court rulings. It's Republicans turn. I don't think the MS-13 gang member is going to get any money from us. I think he is done in an El Salvadoran jail, at least I hope so. He was a violent man who had no business or right to be in our country.

Politically, it's a bigger embarrassment for Democrats. They couldn't stand up and applaud the family of Laken Riley and generally seem unsympathetic to them. However, a Democratic senator is willing to personally fly I El Salvador to check on the well-being of a guy who's at least an illegal alien and may be a criminal gang member. It's not a good look.

I don't think Democrats are embarrassed either. But yes, what they are doing is shameful and many Americans see what they are doing. But these are the same people giving millions of dollars to the anti-white murderer Karmel Anthony.

These people hate white people and the American that they created, even the white Democrats. They hate us and it is obvious more and more.

The Court said little. Very short order. It affirmed the district court's order that the government "facilitate" Garcia's return. However, it expressed caution at the court's order that the government "effectuate" his return, because it could intrude on the executive branch's authority over foreign policy. Basically, the government must make a good faith effort to get him back within the confines of its foreign policy, and it'll have to answer to the district court on the steps it's taking to get him back.

In retrospect, I shouldn't have said "embarrassed." One has to have shame to be embarrassed. And since our politicians have less shame than a gay porn actor . . .

It’s actually an embarrassment to our judicial system.

Actually SCOTUS struck a good balance of enforcing the law while respecting the separation of powers. Everybody else looks like incompetent and lawless hacks.
Correct. Some folks can’t acknowledge that splitting the baby is a valid legal opinion/strategy in certain circumstances.

Ok so who do you think feels Trump got embarrassed?
Is he even capable of guilt, shame or embarrassment? It's like the actor Steven Segal telling a director "I don't act scared." Has Trump ever admitted a mistake or apologized? It's just not in the script for his Administatiln that is playing out like an over-the-top reality TV show.

You are pretty close to the truth here: Trump plays a character and never breaks character. His whole life is a movie starring him. The extra truth I will invite you to is that the inner actor playing Trump is obviously smarter than the character he plays.

If you want a more liberal example, think of Caroll O’Connor playing Archie Bunker.

The inner person of Trump, the actor, is the number one most capable public figure I have ever seen. What he knows, remembers, masters, plans, executes, decides, accomplishes —-he’s basically on Benjamin Franklin’s level. Playing the less-smart Barnum and Bailey- meets Jerry Springer (Archie Bunker with money) character is all part of it, by choice or habit or genetics, I don’t know.

Yes, but unlike other public figures, he has not changed his script in 3 or 4 decades. He is who he has been, whether a character or not.

The courts could have stopped Biden from bringing the illegals coming but didn't.

Yep. It's about time to give the middle finger to the courts and start deporting. The "Constitutional crisis" that ensues is on the judges' hands, not Trump's.

Enough is enough.
