But the actual troops in various places seem to still, 3 years later, be mostly not-out.

For most part, we already have that information, but the Saudis are our Allies so we don't do anything about it.

Trump doesn't pursue some of his campaign goals very well. Many are being thwarted by DOD when it comes to wars in the Middle East. Trump would have to get rid of Pompeo and hire someone who agree with him and would be willing to take on the rest of the DOD.

Would be nice if they all agreed with her
But they wont -- as long as they are the beneficiaries, does anything else even matter?

If Tulsi was a bit more pro-market, she would have a place in the Republican Party. Would be a good candidate for 2024.

She at least addressed the issue and tries to make a reasoned case for her ideas, which is only true of 1 or 2 other candidates (and none of those who are still left with a shot).

Sounds simple enough, he can just do it at his next monthly "fire some of the guys I recently hired" session....

I agree with this and it's why she has some appeal. Plus, her views on US foreign affairs are colored by her years of service and tours, which is always a good perspective to bring.

On top of all that, unless they change the rules again to keep her off the stage (which they might), she will be in a great position to troll Sanders-Biden as the moderators will have to ask her view on what the two old white guys were jibering on about. That part could be gold.

The Dems also changed the rules again for Biden - the format for the next debate to where both men will be seated and answer questions from the audience. This way Biden will not have to stand at a lectern for two hours and answer questions which it appears they do not think he would be able to do.

Sure the format was decided by the DNC and CNN. Biden's handlers had nothing to do with it

Who do you think Biden's handlers are Horn6721? Corporate media is the Democratic Party propaganda organization. They decide how the candidates are portrayed.

But nobody on the left cares about this (and that's not much hyperbole, I really do mean pretty close to nobody at all), they all care about how Elizabeth Warren got screwed by sexism, patriarchy, etc, even though she finished 3rd in her own home state among female voters.

For the record, I support repealing Section 230. Two reasons. First, as a general rule I don't believe in special and arbitrary protections from liability. If you don't want to get sued for defamation, then don't publish defamatory statements. Second, even if I did believe in them, the social media companies have made a mockery of the purposes of the protections. They're going far beyond simply restricting porn, abusive behavior, etc. They're engaging in content-based restrictions and editorializing and contextualizing content that individuals post. Maybe they were a free and open platform at one point, but at least with respect to politics, that's not true anymore.

Unfortunately, much boils down to the froth and venom that have seen across the past decade that was thrown at other females who have spoken out. There are women who have literally lost careers over this.

I am fortunate to have an office that believes in free expression. It made the efforts of the trannies to come at my office a non-starter via phone and email. I started getting the efforts to undermine my job several years ago...still get a few every month. They REALLY don't like the light being shined upon their shenanigans and the mainstream has finally caught up and realized that we were not the fringe outliers some made us out to be when we opposed the move to allow males to be 'women' for accommodations.

    Think cancel culture on steroids.

Efforts are made to no-platform those who have public speaking engagements, efforts are made to get people fired for 'hate speech' and efforts are made to get people booted from various forums and social media.

Through the years, they have actually spent more time harassing someone in the area who has the same name as me, which I am sure THEIR employer just absolutely loved having to deal with.

They are NOT pleasant people, and are even less pleasant now that so many realize they tend to be sexual predators who retain all of the male criminality.

I am sorry you have to go through that
But I like that "they" don't understand who they are dealing with.

    That is rough.

I say identity politics always leads to inner conflict. It is inevitable. It is the very nature of the beast. We see this now with the tug of war between trans-proponents, who have the upper hand at the moment, and female sports in general. The aggrieved party here by my estimation at least, is the female athletes. But they are afraid to speak because they do not want the avalanche of personal attacks they know will come their way if they do speak. And so they just have to sit there while they watch their records being destroyed and their sport turned into a mockery. It is quite the spectacle and we are going to see it more and more. Personally I look forward to the war it is going to cause within the Title IX college sport environment. Imagine UT volleyball with just one Phill Dalhausser on the team. Who could stop them?

Likewise, at the national level, there is no one willing to speak up for the normal girl athletes either - a complete lack of backbone and conviction - they are all afraid of the mob. The one guy who would and did, apparently just got the boot. Think about that choice for the poor female schollie athlete in the voting booth in 2020 -- "I am supposed to hate Trump but if I vote the other way, some guy is going to come steal my scholarship from me." Oy vey.

Has this situation happened at any other schools yet?

Now that you mention it, our womens basketball team could probably use an athletic and strong 7 footer with a deep voice...:beertoast:

Sort of on topic, but seriously, shouldn't women be better slalom and downhill skiers than men based on hips/center of gravity... I bet Tulsi would be a good skier.

It has presented itself in the Track and Field environs.

And there was the laughable situation with a small California school with the 50yo male playing on the women's basketball team. I'll leave it to you to determine if you can find the man on the team...
