An out of state friend told me the game will only be available only to Texas residents. I’ve never heard of ESPN doing regional games for basketball plus in makes no sense to do it for this premier match up. But looking at ESPN’s schedule, it doesn’t have the UT-UNC games listed at all, not even as a ESPN 360 broadcast. Does anyone know what’s up? scores.espn.go.com/ncb/scoreboard?date=20091219
espn.go.com/ncb/notebook/_/page/notebookweeklywatch0904/week-4 You got some bad information. ESPN lists it in this link on the right hand side (with no indication of limitation). No way Jerry, Texas, or UNC would pass up the opportunity to garner national attention for this game.
Yeah, I couldn’t fathom it not being a national game, but grew confused when the game wasn’t listed on the link above (that I listed) or this one: sports.espn.go.com/ncb/schedules?date=20091219
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the game listed second from the top? Shows ESPN and ESPN360.com. Perhaps they're just slow in updating (because as of 12/17/09, it's showing up on your link).
