Herman's response was to say that player need to be responsible and not do stupid stuff. Riley's response was to say that it was inevitable and the teams just need to not be allowed to be in that position.
Agree on liking how the refs handled it. I do feel the soooners had a little more swagger than us in the skirmish. Maybe the quotes from herman and linc give insight into how the teams are coached to handle it. Not sure i have a preference one way or another, just an observation. At least it wasn't like the cotton bowl against the U when we wet our pants when Russell Maryland and the rest of those thugs started yakking before the game.
I believe this is true. We've said several times here that Herman's approach it to prove it on the field and not by trash talking. I like this approach even though it didn't work yesterday.
