On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 the guns fell silent all along the Western Front and WWI, the greatest calamity up to that time to ever befall mankind came to an end. Armistice Day came about to honor al those who had served in that War. In 1954 that day was changed to Veterans Day to honor al who have served our country from Lexington Green and Concord up the the current conflicts worldwide...........I salute all my relatives, friends and acquaintances who have served!

Thank you to all those, especially those reading this, who have served. Your dedication and sacrifice will never be repaid but will always be so appreciated. Most especially, here's to my dad, grandad and father in law who are all now deceased but proudly served, and created such a wonderful life and instilled those values in my wife and me.
Here is to my 4 uncles and father who all served in WWII. After 50 years I finally got my father to open up about his experiences and have a brief description of his B17 bombing missions.
Thank you all for the acknowledgments. Me - USAF, Brother - USMC (Uncle Sam's Misguided Children) . It was my privilege to serve.
