    You don't have to be in space to see them. A couple of times, while flying into Fairbanks, we saw them from the airplane.

    Not just see them, fly into them. Sounds fun. Bonus if you come out with Fantastic Four powers.

    it is something that you can only see from afar?

    I have never been inside a rainbow, but I figure it might be something to that effect?
