Can see how we scheduled WR Davis for the last weekend, with Curtis the first weekend in Jan.
I think Davis is the backup plan for Curtis. Perhaps LJH too?
Several other teams are supposed to be pushing for Curtis but, from all accounts, he is solid UT -- and already likes his projected role in the Gilbert offense.

 

Outside of current commits, give us 2 LB, 3 OL, 1 RB, 1 DE, 1 DT, 3 DB out of these visits.

 

The more DTs the merrier

 

Can't argue with that especially if Ridgeway goes pro. Hoping Strong entices a top flight DL or two or three to join in.

 

IMO most important spaces is 3 OL 3 LB 2 DT and 2 Safteys

 

That's a dang nice list of "gets"!! I hope we get most of them, especially the DTs.

Cuffee (5'11,188) 247 Composite #26 CB natl & # 44 in-state -- “I’m so excited to get my college career started. Just having the opportunity to play college football is an honor because there are kids out there that can’t play. To play for them is an honor.”

Says he will announce via ESPN or Bleacher Report this week but has not set an official date. He added that he wants to do it ‘as soon as possible.’

Per TFB:
QB Shane Buechele, WR Collin Johnson, and ATH Demarco Boyd will all be enrolling at Texas that weekend and will be on campus to help recruit some of Texas’ key targets.

Another guy who could be an early enrollee is Kansas State OL commit Zach Shackelford, who will likely be officially visiting Texas on January 15th. The reason he can do this is because the 2nd semester classes at Texas and Kansas State don’t start until January 19th. Shackelford has a chance to make an immediate impact at the center position.
