A heartfelt thank you to everyone who voted in the Tree Contest for Gary. mihm_rules was an outstanding young man and we are proud of his HornFans friends for supporting us. Since we did not have a fundraiser this year for the scholarship fund we established in his honor, we are donating the prize money (if we win) to the fund. Hopefully, young people can be bettered through our fund.

    Thanks again,

Mihm_Rules tree is leading the voting, but another family is on the move, closing in.

Today is the last day of voting.

Pls take a second and vote on the above link for a good Hornfan (RIP).

My wife and I were notified this week that Gary's Tree won the contest, receiving the most online votes of the 33 entries. We will be receiving a $1,000 American Express check from Calloway's/Cornelius Nursery that will be promptly deposited into the Gary P. Durrenberger Memorial Scholarship Fund. Thank you to everyone who voted and helped us assist college-bound students in realizing their educational dreams. Gary was lucky to be part of such a wonderful Longhorn online community.
