i dont know that there were any bullets to dodge here. had mccoy been able to find a spot to transfer to, wallace would have gotten an offer. mccoy decided to stay, wallace goes elsewhere.
If he does go to Ole Miss, I hope our D can stop him ( I think it will ) as we"ll be playing against him soon.
Hopefully Wallace won't go all Heisman on us when we play Ole Miss the next 2 years. And I hope Mack and Texas will show Wallace what he missed out on, and not the other way around.
i would have been more worried about Wallace had he signed with Miss State than i am about his signing with a 2-10 Ole Miss. Ole Miss was bad on both sides of the ball this year. It will take much more than a good juco QB to make that program competitive.
