Was Yesterday Scheduled for 7 ?

Was this planned ... or are we so dominant that the Broncs tapped out after 7 innings ?

I mean, after all, it was only 5-0.

I've heard they tapped out since they had a long bus ride home, and the coaches wanted to make sure their guys got to class tomorrow.

 

Before the game started both coaches agreed the game wouldn't go past 5pm.

 

Yes, though technically it is that no inning will start after 5PM. Often, travel days will have a "No inning starts after _____." deadline so that the travelling team can either make it's flight or have a reasonable amount of driving time. Even the radio guys didn't know about this one, but it made sense with a drive to the valley in front of them.
