We beat Australia in the finals and our ladies fought well. Good job Ladies. The only negative thing is when you are running out the clock and have the game won don't throw it to another player who is wide open under the net to let her try to get a last second bucket. Just run out the clock. And if you are open under the net don't call for the ball. Fortunately even then the player (No. 15 missed) but let's show a little class and good sportsmanship and just run out the clock.
The future of USA basketball is in great hands. Big Syl is the post player of the future and we have a ton of young guards and forwards prepared to carry on the tradition. Lawson was HUGE in that game and I am very impressed with Pondexter. I would not be surprised to see Griner ready to play for team USA after a few years of college play.
