Wearing Whites

If we wanted to could we wear our whites against Mizzou, for some reason I feel more confident when we are in our whites.

I've always thought we look faster when were in the all white uni's

 

I hear ya but unfortunately no. The home team has to wear dark-colored jerseys.

I thought it was up to the home team to choose white or dark, which is why LSU wears whites at home?

 

Funny I never liked the all whites either...

I've never been a big fan of the whites, either -- we kind of look like marshmallow men or the Michelin tire guy. But we've certainly racked up some impressive wins while wearing them...

Maybe we can don a new all Burnt Orange uni to coincide with the newly named defense. Sneezy and Mars will read the announcement.

Georgia Tech generally chooses which one to wear each week. This year they've been favoring their white unis with gold pants at home.

I love the all-whites, but let's save them for the road games.

 

Gotta go orange @ home... can't mess w/ tradition, especially if u r us.

I do like all white on the road w/ Musberger calling the game... we have had some great performances with that combo!

 

I'm just glad we don't do stupid **** like white shirts with orange pants or an all orange look or breaking out black jerseys with orange pants etc. I like maintaining the tradition

 

Now is not the time to F up the karma. Ask Georgia how that black out worked for them.

 

The only thing that should change is taking the "TEXAS" off of the front. It is junior college bush league and we do not need it. People know who we are.

Don't mess with the rings on the sleeves however because they belong.

I love the all-white but at home gotta go with the Texas Orange jerseys.

 

I thought LSU had some sort of special wavier from the NCAA that allowed them to wear white at home. I know it sounds strange but I'm pretty sure I heard this somewhere.

Also...Drag...either you are someone else brought up the "take TEXAS off the front" during the off-season. I disagreed then and I disagree now.

 

I'd like to see all burnt orange unis - with white shoes and no sock/leg showing.

The helmet logo should be along the lines of the Texans with frikin' smoke snorting. The helmets should be black with maybe red/white/blue stripes sweeping backwards also.

And could we paint the field blue also?

 

Don't even get started on the clown costumes oregon wears.

 

I saw Oregon a few weeks ago and they were wearing green pants (yellow stripes) with a white jersey (green numbers) and a white helmet (green O). I thought those actually looked damn good.
