I predict the following based on Tech’s averages in Big XII road games this season:

Tech will commit 7 penalties for 65 yds; and,
Texas will commit 3 penalties for 21 yds.

Again, this is all based on what is completely average and normal for Tech. This is who they are and what they’ve done. The maximum number of penalties for a Tech opponent when the opponent is at home is 4 (the range is 1-4). The minimum number of penalties for Tech when they are on the road is 4 (the range is 4-9).

Unless there is something unethical from the Big XII (and the officials they pay), this is what we should expect based on what has happened in Tech games this season.

 

I hope "Commissioner Yo's" preseason comments about being in Austin on T+1 are posted all over the locker room this week. I won't predict a score, but I want to see a mudhole in TT the size of Trinity Bay.

It's hard to know what to think of this Tech team. They came somewhat close to beating Oregon early in the season - then lost to West Virginia and BYU. They just squeaked by Kansas and UCF. I know they'll be up for the game, but I still think we win fairly handily.

Texas scored 2 points last week for a blocked PAT kick. How do you get one point? Is this when the opponent blocks Texas PAT and recover in the end zone for a safety?

 

Yea, but it has to be in the end zone at the far side of the field.

I am not there yet. He is not the same style player as Jonathan Brooks who just has elite level vision and is also faster on the field than Baxter. I think Blue has some of what JB had but he hurt himself with ball security so he just hasnt had the carries. Those obviously picked up last week and I hope they continue. Not sure why we havent seen the speed of Robinson used more this year but we still have 3 games left!

 

Agree on the why not more Robinson.
