This is the last game of the year and will determine the winner of the Prediction Contest. The defensive back field will be severely tested with this Washington team who loves to sling the ball around. Although this year didn't turn out like we hoped, it was still a positive year where we have a chance to finish with 9 wins and build upon the better defense and a very young offense.

Even without Bijan. Texas has to run the ball! Brooks can get us there, he needs the carries.

I expect them to load up against the run and make us pass. This works to their advantage.

The Washington offense is for real but the caveat is they play in the Pac 12 so its hard to gauge how good they really are. This may be more heart than brain but:

    WorsterMan SEC here we come!!

Have not seen any games or highlights of the huskies, so it's hard for me to gauge them.

Indeed. Wash QB Pennix destroys zone defenses for a living.

This may be our biggest defensive test of the year.

Fortunately, the Dogs can't play defense, so Jonathan Brooks may win Freshman RB of the year based on just this one game...

And the Ewers doubters will go into hiding until Spring Training.

Bowl games are tough to predict. Is one team unmotivated/unhappy to be there? Who knows? I expect UW to torch us in the passing game, because, well, everybody does. Third and 10 is a gimme. Ewers has digressed during the season. My faith is non existent.

Some of our best players opted out yet all of their players will play. They might want this victory more. It’s up to Sark to get the participators highly motivated without the leaders.

Too much talent for Texas not playing vs everybody playing (want it more?)
It really comes down to Texas being able to take advantage of a weak UW secondary, and I remember how Ewers did against a weak okie lite secondary. Not being able to exploit your competition's greatest weakness is usually not a recipe for success.
