Typical tech... looked uninspired - 6 points today vs. mildcats.
Play sky high vs. UT and ou.... play like dog meat to some other teams they are capable of beating.

 

LJH put a dagger in their heart last week and they bled out. Had nothing in the tank today.

 

Typical of the tortilla tossers.

 

Anybody who treats a poor precious tortilla like that gets zero sympathy from me.

Third string tech qb with a penchant for fumbling

And Tech players knowing their coach won’t be back

And KSU players knowing their coach won’t be back

We lost to Kansas under somewhat similar circumstances

 

KU coach was fired and riding out the season. Almost every time that happens, in the last game the players give it everything they have. Horns cannot go in thinking this will be an automatic W. They have to go in with the mindset of destroying the opponent, taking no prisoners, lay waste to the school and burn the town. Except for the Whataburger so they can have snack afterwards.

 

Sadly its typical tech give a million percent against Texas and next week crap the bed and have major let down.

 

Except, there is no Whataburger in Kansas, apparently. So leave the Hardee's or wherever they go to get their inferior burgers.

Burning down the Hardee's would be urban renewal.

 

While it's always a good time patting yourself on the back, the fact of the matter is TTU's starter and 3rd string QB had a leg injury going into the game and was very limited in what he could do.

Of course there were many elements of poor play on TT's part, but Duffey's and Dakota Allen's injuries had as much to do with it as anything.

Depending on how things go this week, could see a 4th string walk-on start at QB on Saturday.

 

Awwwww, that's such a shame. My heart bleeds for you guys.

We have seen this mid-to-end of season swoon from Tech forever so don't go on about injuries - everyone has injuries this time of year. Fact is Tech was hurt by aggy leaving the XII more than anyone because aggy's annual crash was more newsworthy than Tech's.

 

I hope that fourth string walkon QB has sent his girlfriend home for the rest of the season.
