At his press conference Strong was asked about it and he said that he took it but has not heard back. If he would have passed it he would have enrolled the next day so guess the news is not good. His twitter account has no mention of it.
A day or two prior to Strong's press conference reference above there was a report he had not done well on his ACT. My hunch is Strong and the program have moved on.
The deal is he didn't score high enough this last time. He may retake it in early October. Devo can (and it's been reported) will take it as many times as necessary to enroll in the spring. He really, really, reeeeeaaaaally wants to be a Longhorn.
I hope he is enrolled in some courses if raising his GPA will ease the pressure for a high ACT score. If he is not able to meet minimum requirements for admission, he ultimately may need to go JUCO.
