Heading to Whistler, BC on Thursday for a week. Anyone been there? Any suggestions on things to do, places to eat and drink?

it's so small, everything is self contained within the village, although i was there before the Olympics, so things may have changed a bit. Great pedestrian spaces though.

I'd imagine you can do things most ski resorts offer in the summer. Hiking, biking, canoeing, etc.

It is beautiful. Enjoy. Sorry i am not more help on anything specifically.

Skied there four times in winter; I loved it. Been 10 years, though. Not relevant to what you are doing, but the mountain is huge and has lots of different runs. Also, the elevation is relatively low, ranging from 2000-5000 or so instead of 8000-11000 like Colorado and NM ski resorts. More oxygen.

In winter, there are a million bald eagles.
