Whitlock has dumped on VY several times in the past so this new take is interesting.

Fisher has forced me to agree w/ Whitlock and Skip Bayless w/in one week...he should be fired for that alone.

He said exactly what we all (hornfans) already knew... but the tv talking heads seem to want to ignore...

Porn Stache is overrated. Business in the front, party in the back will get fired for sure if he keeps getting blanked against the Texans.

Whitlock is a joke. That doesn't excuse Fisher for his part in this debacle, but Whitlock is a total buffoon.

Whitlock is a buffoon, but he isn't always wrong. The only thing he said that seemed wrong was his characterization of this as over-emotionalized locker room snarling. This is an ongoing loggerheads wherein neither side can/wants to figure out a middle ground (I think VY is the former, partially due to being a bit immature and spoiled, and Fisher is the latter as he doesn't really value VYs skills and he won't countenance VYs immaturity).

VY has been immature, etc., and there is ample proof of such listing back to his college days.

Still, it has to be admitted that, as a bottom line, Fisher is not trying to help Young in any way and is quick to pull Vince, etc. They don't mix well and neither is taking the high road or playing it smart.

It seems that Fisher does not care for VY as a concept or a personality and control of the ship is less valuable than making certain certain cargo is 'kept in it's place.'

Fisher has all the rope. If you prefer traditional coaching control, the vision of Lombardi yelling and screaming and terrorizing his team, a position I think is easy to maintain in the media, then Fisher's position is pretty solid regardless of the pig-headedness of his tact.

However, if you are not absorbed in those traditionalist arguments, i.e., you are interested in racial dynamics or embracing the media age or, in this case, emotionally attached to the putative rebel, Fisher seems like more of a villain as the traditionalist approach doesn't carry as much weight.

It is simple: Fisher doesn't like VY and VY has not been able to figure out how to negotiate the situation, something someone a little more consistent under center and a little more mature might be able to do with less drama.

If you are the owner you have to think that, in spite of the that dynamic, the QB has improved his craft while winning more often than not, and, regardless of the reasons for that, you have to want to see if improvement will continue. Fisher has not been improving and is a known. I also don't think he cares if he keeps his job in Tennessee.

The owner understands all of this. He told them to work it out. Fisher said to hell with that.

Fisher should have been fired last year for refusing to insert VY for even a series during the 0-6 debacle while insisting Collins gave them the best chance to win (while Kerry was throwing 13 straight incompletions at one point and finished with negative passing yardage in another game), and then having the whole thing blow up in his face when VY came in on Bud's orders and led the team to a 8-2 finish while playing very well and even leading a last-minute comeback.

What happens now is a year too late, but better than never, and it's all because VY finally called Fisher out on his ****. And Fisher responds with his petty manhood insult because the truth is Fisher had his own cut down to size in front of everyone in the lockerroom.

    Y'all are just Fisher haters!

Fisher is a real man and I don't think you can handle it. Team Captain Keith Bulluck who was drafted and played his entire 10 year career with the Titans tore his ACL, it was time to resign his contract. Like a real man Fisher didn't take care of that **** on the phone, he handled it like a man by never talking to Bulluck again. Bulluck got the hint.

Vanden Bosch got the hint too, Fisher ain't gonna call that loser up. What did he ever do for the Titans?

Kevin Mawae didn't get called either, because real men get a clue. Don't even get me started on that loser McNair, get lost already. Man up.

So is it really that hard to see how a really mature man who makes rational decisions can tell Vince Young to get lost? Seriously, Vince needs to man up. When Fisher kicked him out of the facilities he took the mans way. He walked right up to his asst. coach and said... you need to kick Vince of the premises for me.
