The argument that Earl was the best has significant merit. I still feel that he is the best college player that I have seen play.

For most of his career, Earl played on less talented teams that didn't pass much. Quite often the opposition would have multiple defenders whose sole responsibility was to TRY and stop him. The results would frequently be an exercise in futility, even when they knew he was getting the ball.

Anyone that doesn't at least include him in the top ten never saw him play.
