    in their bracket predictions?

Gathers and Prince getting into a pushing match, defense collapsing, no leadership... I really should have seen this coming. I just didn't thought their road would be easy enough to get through a couple of rounds before the Baylor factor caught up to them.

Still time to pull out of it, but they're not looking good right now.

I had Baylor going deep...guess the only thing going deep is my depression for picking these losers!

Yale is shooting 74% on 2-point FGs and has out-rebounded Baylor by 8. It's amazing this game is within single digits.

It just goes to show what I always have believed; Texas always gets the opposing teams best effort... Mack said it once, "The A&M team we see on the field is never like the one we see on film."

Huge offensive foul on Prince. Followed by Yale bricking 2 FTs.

Wainright stepped out of bounds on that "terrific save".

That turnover will do it, barring a miracle. That whole university getting what it deserves.

And the choke in the final seconds completes it.

It's worth getting Baylor into the tournament every year if we can watch them lay eggs like that in the first round. That was kinda fun.

My first loss today, but well worth it. Had Duke taking them out in the next round.

Lose to #13 Georgia State last year and now #12 Yale this year. Lots of talent, but not enough discipline, thats Baylor basketball under Drew.

Ivy League now 4-3 in its last 7 games. All 3 losses were close, iirc.

The Bulldog's first NCAA tourney win ever. Boola Boola (whatever the hell that means).

So there's a thing called a "rebound" where you go up and get the ball with your hands, and Yale did that more than Baylor. That's what I'm hearing there.

It sounds kind of important. Why didn't Baylor do more of that?

Apparently Drew doesn't teach the importance of grabbing that round ball with both hands after it bounces off the rim. Prince certainly didn't appear to appreciate why the question had significance. Baylor education at it best. :smile1:

I thought the question was obnoxious..."How does 'YALE' outrebound 'Baylor'???!!!"

What's the guy supposed to say?
Maybe the answer was slightly obnoxious, but I thought it was clever.

Basically, the answer was a long winded, polite way to tell the reporter to go f**k himself.

I'm torn because on the one hand, it's true: how do you answer that? "How does it happen? They outplayed us, that's how it happened."

But at the same time, there's some accountability for that, and part of being a star player is that when you have adversity in a tournament game, you don't get techs for hanging on the rim, you don't get into shoving matches with teammates (who may or may not be pinheads to begin with), and you take accountability when you get beat by teams that aren't as talented as you are. It's happened two years in a row, and if someone calling him out on that bothers him, he probably needs to polish up his auto sales skills and go do that instead of being a high-profile college athlete.
