Who is the “new” player you are most looking forward to seeing?

OK, I’ll admit it I’m like on some weird, almost mushroom induced psychotic place. One week away .... the grass seems to be greener, the sky is bluer, birds sing louder....

Who is the ‘newcomer’ you are jonesing to see hit the field?

For me, it’s Coburn, followed by Jake Smith.

Whitt, Smith, Sweat. I wouldn’t count Coburn as new but I’m certainly looking forward to watching him.

Ironically, and I’m not glad, Bru has been sick for several weeks and has not practiced

Yeah - I was including RS FR, even those that played in 4 games.
I’ve heard great things about Sweat.

Jacoby Jones. Dude has a mean streak a mile wide. Hopefully he can harness and focus that nasty attitude against our opponents.

Sweat and Christian Jones will likely be seeing the field, possibly a lot. I didn't expect that, so a pleasant surprise. See depth chart below:

I was wrong about where our 3 incoming true Freshman OL would start out. Both Tyler Johnson and Shepard are at LT. Hookfin didn't make this chart. I figured Hookfin would be tried at LT, and Shepard and Johnson at RT or at G. Of course, positions could change this year or later in their careers. Hookfin's size is not an issue as he's now 300 lbs.

No surprise here, Whittington and Smith.

Smith and Whittington. Also excited to see Juwan Mitchell. I see him as co starter at Mike and I hadn't paid much attention to him before.

    The internet. :smile1:

It was posted by another member on the Fall Camp board. Looks like the source was from Anwar Richardson’s Twitter. Same info is on 247 in a different format.

I would say Jake Smith if he plays like the good Ramonce Taylor and not the dumb Ramonce Taylor.

I touched on it last week in By The Numbers, but Juwan Mitchell is a player. Dude is making the most of his limited opportunities on the field.

Mitchell graded out as the best tackler on the field against Oklahoma State (78.0) and the second best tackler against Rice (80.5).

Mitchell has played just 45.7% of the possible defensive snaps in those two games, but like I said, he’s made the most of them.
