WKU - Drake

Screwed up my bracket. But well worth it for the ending.

 

Good game!

 

I had Drake in my bracket, but that was a ******** charging call on WKU at the end of regulation. I was glad they ended up winning. Terrific finish.

 

Yeah, I'm trying to teach my 10 year old daughter the rules of basketball. That call at the end was a little hard to explain to her

 

Had a perfect bracket until that final shot......

 

I hate the Drake

 

I have WKU in the Sweet 16 in one of my brackets, so I loved that result.

 

i had wku. gotta pick a 12 seed

 

I love it! this offsets my loss in the Gonzaga game.

 

That charge was bs. The Drake player was still moving. No idea how the ref thought he was set. Glad they won after that call. I thought the call under Drake's goal was also questionable. The refs let the scrum under the goal go on for several seconds and then decided to call a foul.

 

I didn't see the play in question, but you don't have to be set for a charge to be called.

 

Amazing thing is, USD is leading UCONN. If USD holds on, WKU stands a good chance of going to the S16 vs. UCLA.

 

The Drake point guard flopped so many times, including that charge call at the end, that I thought he was playing for Duke.

 

They held on and won! Great game.
