WNBA opening day

    I know not everyone is a WNBA fan - but for those of us who are........

    Today is opening day for the season. There are several games on TV and as Babhorn said in another thread, they are all free on the web.

    Saturday May 17
    LA @ Phoenix 2:30 ABC
    Washington @ Indiana 6:00PM NBA TV
    Chicago @ Seattle 9:00PM NBA TV

    Candace Parker scored a record 34 points!! She will definitely be ROTY.

    She may be better as a pro than as a collegian since opposing teams cannot double and triple team her. Many teams may have to play her one on one and no single player is going to stop her.

    And to anyone who did not vote on her as the POY in college basketball, shame on them. She should have swept every award that she was eligible for.
