Duke hung in there for a while but MD was too much for them down the stretch. I would say that Duke is also going through a transition trying to learn Coach P's system. Waner seems to have suffered the most...she doesn't seem like the same player.
Plus the Duke team seemed tired at then end. It made me wonder about a recent comment by someone on the Duke team - maybe Waner in her ESPN Blog? - that they were not running & conditioning as much this year ...
