I could imagine a six-game series. I could also imagine a sweep for the Astros.

I don't get giving Diaz (.067 average postseason) a green light on 3-0 with McCormack on deck.:idk:

A comeback win for the Phillies in the 10th? Crap it's the 1980 NLCS all over again so far.

Chances of a sweep by the Astros are down the tubes. Now it becomes critical to win Game Two at home before heading to Philly.

Thank God they won tonight. Only with the Astros does a 5-0 lead feel like a problem!

Controversial opinion: Verlander should not start any more WS games

My daughter had a play Friday so I missed the game, saw the score and my immediate reaction was well Astros in five then. Last night was about what we should expect Philly cant hang in a series with this Houston team, I am not sure there is a team in baseball right now that could.

Totally agree. But it would have been nice if Dusty pulled him when it was obvious he wasn’t on his game anymore.

Slightly less controversial opinion: JV should start and only play 4 innings, if the series goes long enough.

If I had my choice, I’d go with Framber over JV.

Since the Rangers aren't allowed to play in a World Series
I don't know how they rotate Home ands Home.

so they played game 1 in Philly, Game 2 in Houston
and now game 3 back in Philly?
I would have thought Astros with better record would get opening game

    Thanks.
For some reason I thought first game was in Philly.
When your team never plays in the event you lose focusness

After giving up 5 runs tonight I wondered how many more Dusty wanted to leave him in there to give up. Turns out two was the number.

I agree and a loss tonight might be too much to overcome.

It’s what makes sports great. Makes the fun times all worth it. 2005 was a huge redemption year for me.

Look at Tennessee this year. They were left for dead two years ago.

Javier could use a little run support tonight. He’s smoking so far.
