Does anyone know if there is a wireless card adapter for xbox, that uses the Pre-N protocol? G doesnt have enuff oomph to go through the walls I need it to. Pre-N does, but I don't know how to receive the signal in the xbox. I have seen G adaptors on the internet, but no pre-N adaptors yet. Help?
I have the 802.11b model, and its linksys. Have you tried just a standard pre-N access point? It is just an ethernet connection -- no reason why it shouldn't work that I'm aware of. Talk to the guys at Best Buy or wherever you plan to buy and let us know -- the upcharge for the gaming adapter is insane.
