LHAB Good find there. And I cannot believe my post above that you just rated didnt get more play here. Glad you caught it. That is quite a # there... 1 The number of away games won since the start of 2021..the beginning of Sarks tenure. Im not a giver upper on Sark. On the contrary I am patient and will support the effort to dig us out of this hole. But these things like you and I just posted are trends that must be watched...and must be broken soon.
Well, the last two games the D has failed to get itself off the field in the first half thus wearing itself out and not giving the O a chance to do anything. Hard to win when the other team has 90 offensive plays to our 60.
Rod Babers mentioned the exact number of the radio earlier this week, but I think Sark is now 13-28 in road games as a head coach.
I said that very thing in the post you quoted. Did you see it? Sorry if my wording seemed abrupt, LC. ...probably diverted your attention. And on that Ewers note.... Throughout the week media and insiders seem to believe Ewers would start this game. Towards the end of the week sentiment started to change. I hope we at least see a little of him...but the against seems to be favored here. Looking like they are gameplanning for him next week.
With our level of talent at the skill positions, half or more of our O play design should be about getting our superior skill position guys matched-up and isolated in space against lesser defenders.
D - a good pass rush and control of the line of scrimmage tends to take care of almost everything else. (provided your CBs don't completely suck)
3 out of 5 of our starting DBs will be back next year. All of our 2nd team DBs will be back next year.
