I have never had grits either.

But I have had migas and breakfast tacos many many many times. :)

Would someone from Alabama know what migas are?

CFS; there' s not even a question. I think the better question would include various forms of bbq/mexican food. I daresay Chicken and Dumplings hurts CFS's strength of schedule. [IMG]

If this is in fact a serious post, I'll vote: CFS. Not close.

    WTF, Chicken and Dumplings?

Why not Chicken Fried Steak versus Meatloaf. Yeah, that's a blowout, too. Or Fried Liver?

I think the OP is just some kind of deviant. Now: Chicken Fried Steak v. BBQ? That's a pick 'em. Chicken Fried Steak v. Homemade Tamales? MGM Sports Book says "No line".

Heck, I was born and raised and live in Texas and don't know what a miga is!

I am a 7th generation Texan. Before my ancestors came to Texas they lived in Georgia.

Pretty sure I am not yankee.

I like my chicken and dumplings.

CFS no question. Cream gravy with mashed potatoes.

I pick the CFS. But how could you people have never had chicken and dumplings? That's crazy. You've missed out.

Yes, Dot's has re-opened in Pflugerville, on the opposite side of the street from Pflugerville High School, a little south of the school, in a strip center. Same great food!
I haven't tried the chicken and dumplings there, but that would be the place to try them.
Both can be good, but I'll take CFS because I like it better, and for one other very good reason. CFS is easier to make palatable at restaurants, but chicken and dumplings can often be a mushy tasteless soup. It may require a better cook to make well, unlike CFS.

Only an Ag would even consider brown gravy as an option.

Chicken & Dumplings - less artery clogging than CFS.
