Is it confirmed by anybody, XOVER? If he has enrolled at TT, that is weird. Got pressured into doing it yesterday by somebody or what? Why would one commit to us so late after it was known that Mack would anyway be gone, wait till a new coach comes in, wouldn't even meet him and would enroll at Tech, of all places in a hurry like this? He must be crazy, or something was at work on him yesterday, I guess.
If he is renrolling in Spring semester which I read that he was, time is tight and he had lost his position coach and main recruiter in Davis. Hope he reconsiders. Tech is at top of his list but I haven't seen anything to confirm he has committed there yet.
I believe Burton has confirmed. We officially lost all 3 of out DT verbals yesterday, leaving us with 0 over the past 2 years. We did verbal a TE today named Blake.
The latest from 247Sports is that Henderson reportedly told a Texas commit this morning that he has yet to make up his mind on what he's going to do as far as Texas goes and that he's "apparently taking a wait and see approach to see who exactly Strong hires on the defensive line." Also per a 247 poster from the Longview area, Henderson's high school coach has said he is still committed to Texas, but unsure how committed he still is. Zaycoven is supposed to be a Spring enrollee, so we'll find out soon enough.
And then there is this tweet from Max Olson ‏@max_olson 2m: "Longview coach John King tells me DT Zaycoven Henderson spoke with Charlie Strong and is indeed going to Texas."
And now maybe Zaycoven will come to Texas after all. Right now the guy is all over the place. Which is a heckuva lot better than being decommiited.
