The Palestinians have historically chosen poorly with respect to their leadership. Just think if Arafat had taken Clinton's deal how much more money he could have swindled! How much is Abbas worth now? Surely it is reaching into the billions, right? As long as the outsiders get to greatly influence, outsiders within the middle east I mean, the Palestinian situation will not change. The US is foolish to get in bed with HAMAS or HEZBOLLAH in any way. Kerry will find a way to have us funding them though.
Well, if you define tenet as "a principle, belief, or doctrine generally held to be true" I'm not so sure that violence against Christians isn't a Muslim tenet. Did you hear about the group of African refugees on a boat bound for Italy this week? The Muslims threw the Christians overboard to drown. Italian police arrested 15 people off that boat when it reached shore and charged them with murder. Given that this kind of violence is wide spread through out the world, at what point does it become a tenet?
It depends sort of in my opinion. ISIS members clearly think it is preferable or just or maybe is a tenet to kill any Christian not willing to submit to Islam. Is there any doubt of that? Then the debate of whether ISIS is really Islamic or some cult trying to play by strict Islamic rules but is not Islamic like Hitler isn't Christian for example. I can claim to be Mother Teresa but just because I say it doesn't make it true. The real Islam needs to get a handle on the fake Islam. It would be nice if the Arab world would help the poor pitiful Palestinians out regardless of what Israel is doing. There is little incentive to do that however.
