Jack Stoll ..... Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO)
    3-star ..... TE ..... 6-5/225 ..... Nebraska

Scout has him as a 3-star and the #1 TE in Colorado. And that's about it for now. More to come, I'm sure.

    Per 247Sports via OB:
TE Jack Stoll shares his thoughts of Texas' offer...
"I've done just about everything at tight end," Stoll said. "I've lined up as an H-back, as a wide receiver and I've even been in the backfield. Coach Traylor said he really liked that about me."

"It all started with a little bit of homework," Stoll said. "I had been doing some research on the program then my high school coach told me to give coach Traylor a call tonight. I grabbed my phone as fast as I could, and we had a solid 10-minute conversation. He told me that I had an offer, and I was absolutely speechless."

"Texas is an unbelievable program," he said. "They average 90,000 fans a game and have phenomenal school tradition. Charlie Strong is a great coach, and I know he's going to build it up to win national titles again. To have an opportunity to be a part of that is great. I can't describe it. I'm jumping for joy."

"With me being in Colorado, it's not easy to just drive down there," Stoll said. "But I talked with my parents, and we're going to scrap things together and hopefully get down there in the next month."

    Per IT:
How he fits at Texas: Stoll is an ideal H-back prospect for Texas because that's exactly what he's doing in high school. He blocks from different angles coming out of the backfield, as Texas' H-back will regularly do in Wickline's run game, and also makes quick motions out to a flex WR position and runs routes. He has good hands and enough quickness to get open, particularly on play-action plays, but his ability to block has to catch the eyes of the Texas staff. - IB

Coach says: I absolutely love that way he is utilized in his high school's offense. They split him out, put him in motion in a variety of ways to get him free releases, and they also use him as a blocker in different ways. Not only is used as a blocker, he is a willing blocker and will absolutely get after you and try to flat back you. I'm a little old school, so I like my tight ends to be able to put their paws on you and manhandle you in the run game, and be able to be an asset in the passing game.

How this affects Texas: If Stoll were in Texas, he wouldn't be so under the radar. Stoll reminds me of former OU TE/H-back Trent Smith. He also really likes the Longhorns. He'll be in Austin on Saturday [for the Spring game]. TE coach Jeff Traylor may have stumbled upon a diamond in the rough here. - JW

Nice. The last TE I remember coming from Colorado was Bo Scaife. He turned out all right. ;)
