Some of the Sooner boards are having fun with the pictures of Lebby and Briles daughter and Zapruder references. She's holding her purse in an odd way. If they were going to film the sidelines they'd get tickets and do it better.

The TU gear makes it curious. I'd be much less antsy about it if the guy contacted some operations guy and said, "hey, I'm in town at my alma mater to visit some old friends on a bye week and touch base with friends from Tulsa and OU. Is that cool? If so, where can you get me tickets or where can you direct me to get tickets?"

You didn't get much of an education at that Oklahoma University thingee . . . .

    Here's some remedial education:

I believe the TU the OU guy is referring to is "Tulsa University."

I think that there can be little doubt that Baylor and Baylor football have gotten to the point that they are willing to compromise the very principles that the school was built on, to maintain a top tier football program.

I hope everyone that posted last season what a great coach Briles is and that he should have been considered for the job at UT realize this. A great coach doesn't do these kind of things to keep his program on top, he doesn't have to.

Baylor athletics is making lots of money for Baylor now and it seems that more and more the powers that be there are willing to look the other way, when it comes to shady actions by players and coaches. There is no glory in this kind of success, but as long as the money keeps rolling in, it will go on. The mostly toothless NCAA doesn't seem too interested in what is going on in Waco either

Thanks. Been here since about 2002. Long enough to really miss the 3:16 board and the frogstyle posts. :)

Yes TU = Tulsa. UT is you guys. Being an Okie I made an assumption there, or their, or they're - whichever is accurate. Just like Aggie is OSU and Aggy is those other idgets. And, Tech is Sand Aggy.

I learned a lot posting in this forum. Thick skin. Still waiting for you guys to add a spell checker for the Sooner posters and the proper mathematical way to do the [hook'em] ^ (-1). :)

I don’t want to know what you have to do to get kicked off a Briles team.

    Dion,

He has not been "kicked off the team". He is still on scholarship, still working with S&C coaches, and eligible to work hi way back into competition. He's redshirting anyway since the weed arrest.

Probably violated one of Briles' rules, like "always carry a vile of clean piss, even if it is borrowed".

Other Briles' [did I do that right?] rules:

Always use a burner phone when contacting your dealer.
Have a backup license plate on your car when doing a B&E.
Always have a non-football playing buddy around to throw your stash to if getting pulled over.
Use code names when dealing with co-eds.

    Any more?

    From Fox Sports:
"Freshman safety J.W. Ketchum no longer attends Baylor, he tweeted Monday. One of Baylor's top signees in the 2015 class, Ketchum was suspended last week after an unspecified violation of team rules. In August he was arrested for possession of marijuana by Baylor police. According to the Dallas Morning News, Ketchum was released the next day on $1,000 bail."

Thay have team rules at Baylor? I guess he violated the "don't get caught" rule.

I opine the Baylor offense more than helped give those defenses their rankings.

If the NCAA could test for girlfriend-beating or rape, then Briles would care about those. But since they can't, he doesn't.

Briles has been very quiet lately. Probably hoping that all the heat will blow over and an NCAA investigation won't be made. Does anyone find it "interesting" that Briles came to Baylor and in just a few years took them from nothing, to getting top recruits, then to a top Div 1 team? How did he do that? Luck? Something other than luck?.............
