It won't take 200 years. Our grandkids or certainly great grandkids will see the day. The moral case for abortion was always difficult to make, and it's getting harder and harder to make with every advance in prenatal technology.
Furthermore, when the case for abortion is made, it relies on superficial arguments that would never hold up under even somewhat serious scrutiny. It's bumper sticker fodder, yet seemingly intelligent people treat them as authoritative. The reason why is that it's ultimately a cultural and political pissing match. It's about who we like and don't like more than about logic or science. Well, stuff like that tends to fatigue and wear down over time much like the cases for slavery, segregation, etc. That stuff wasn't based on any weaker arguments.
