even on our good days. But, that was the best team we've played this yr. O$U can beat a lot of teams playing like that. I suspect they'll win the B12. Last night was not one of the clunkers we've thrown out there. I thought we played one of our better games. Receivers caught the ball, Cody ran well, Garrett didn't throw senselessly into triple coverage. We simply aren't good enough to handle a team like ouSt when they bring their best game. Our biggest problem is that we're everyones championship game. They all play us like its their last game ever. We're not talented enough overall to handle that challenge...

How can anyone say Texas doesn't have the talent? With a top 5 recruiting class year in and year out.....no one can say "No Talent"!

Offensive is bottom 10 in college football. Don't look at yds, because we can't get it done when it matters. But the D last night was horrible. OSU moved the ball at will, converted 3rd and longs, and that first TD. 3rd and 8 and they run a little misdirection and the back walks into the end zone untouched. How can that happen. Worst D performance of the year and that includes UCLA. OSU had 308 yds at half and were never challenged until they had built their lead and cruised it on in. Aaron Williams was terrible last night. Just looked uninterested in the challenge.

Both of the corners look like they could care less. I know Blackmon is one of the best in college, but before the season lots of people myself included thought A. Williams was going to be one of the best cover corners and my my how wrong I was.

I couldn't help but think that we could have perhaps recruited Hunter to the 40 acres had we not wasted a scholarship on Whaley. But on the good side, I did see #21 in the game for us for one play at least. When I saw him trotting toward the sideline after the play, I couldn't help but notice that he looks a little like an OLineman...

I think we are on the average side of bad.

average would at least mean this team plays with some semblance of heart and effort and discipline.

Sometimes potential is confused with talent. It's up to the coaches AND the individual to insure that the former morphs into the latter.

Our biggest problem is not that

    "we are everyone's championship game."

Our biggest problem is that we are everyone's get well game.

Got a ****** defense?? No problem. Play Texas and your defense gets well!! We score below everyone's points allowed per game average.

Defense not so much. We hold team's below their average points scored per game.

How does dead last in the Big 12 South sound?

    I cannot believe this season.

Williams isn't bad, Blackmon is just that good. Williams was running stride-for-stride with Blackmon on that deep TD pass, and couldn't have been any closer to him without interfering, and he still made the catch (also as perfectly thrown of a deep ball as it's possible to have). Unfortunately for us, we mostly had somebody else guarding Blackmon while Williams was on their #2 or #3 guy for some reason.
