Fines in the NFL are actually withheld from paychecks, so Favre doesn't have much of a choice. As long as he still has a game to play, he still has a paycheck due him.

 

he still has an NFL pension as well. they will get their fine.

 

Not to mention the guy has made tens of millions in his career. He'll probably match the 50k to the Wrangler Scholarship fund.
