It appears that way. If ESPN sees a reason to move it to Friday or Saturday, I'm guessing they'll still keep the game that weekend. I think a bigger question is whether we keep Baylor the following weekend.
The link Not so fast my friend. It could be Texas Tech on Thanksgiving Day, but we will continue playing on that day at least.
I wouldn't be surprised if TCU assumed A&M's schedule for the 2012 season just to make things easy, but I don't expect that to be the case for more than 2012. Best scenario for me would be Texas playing TCU and TTU in Austin on alternating years and whoever they do not play at home that year, plays Baylor on T-day weekend.
I prefer us playing T+1. I like hosting Thanksgiving through the evening and then putting my feet up the day after to watch the game. As it is now, we do Thanksgiving on Friday because of the conflict.
^^^This I just thought again how stupid they will look signing their lament about UT while playing in the SEC. They are going to catch a lot of **** over it....but then it's their "traditon!"
T+1 is much better than on Turkey day or T+2. You can have thanksgiving o thursday and enjoy the day then take friday and have alll day to go to the game. Who works the day after Thanksgiving anyway?
Plenty of people. The better question is, who can't have thanksgiving and then go to or watch a football game?
Well guess those people can't go to the game then. Just saying it's much easier on everyone having the game on T+1 than on Turkey day. It's like having an 11:00am kickoff for TX/ou...it flat out SUCKS!
