ash came out after one of his 2 plays and looked pretty woozy. he never played again after mack had to call a timeout because he didn't look like he could run the play. case was trying to signal the play in as well and ash looked dazed/confused.

He strained his sense of proportion.

Saw the confusion but had no idea it was due to an injury.

Case and Applewhite were yelling at him at the same time.

Injured? We all thought he didn't know what play was called.

Actually, what I thought happened is that Ash thought Case was supposed to sub in for him... he got near the sideline and was told to stay in the game but the ref told him he had to sub out or risk an illegal substitution penalty. The confusion was that the ref told him he had to go out, but Case was telling him to stay in. At least that's what I thought at the time. I had no idea there was any injury.

He looked concussed to me, but he often looks that way when he makes a decision.

oh. hopefully it wasn't an injury then. he never re-entered the game, so i guessed something was wrong. sorry to spread any rumors or anxiety.

Watching it in real time I was convinced that Ash suffered a mild concussion on the previous play. You can see him getting up out of the pile with wobbly legs and helmet sideways and motion to the sideline that he needed to come out, but the sideline obviously didn't get that. Then confusion ensued. I wonder if he was even assessed for a concussion.

he got the **** knocked out of him. when he came to sideline, major and case told him to "get down", in other words, show ref he was hurt, thus stopping clock so we don't burn t.o. watch it again and you can see major telling him to get down. pretty smart except ash didn't understand [IMG]

You guys ragging on Ash when he may have been injured are true a-holes.
    He's a Horn.
A true freshman that has given his all.
We all would have liked him to be more successful.

    What Moondog said.
McCoy is the worst looking QB in the Big 12, WITH NO UPSIDE!
Just as you can't coach quickness and arm strength, you can't uncoach McCoy's slowness and arm weakness. His 25-yard run was truly a miracle.

We all better pray that Ash regains the starters role by next season.

"Ash has shown zero ability to successfully throw a pass."

    Never said he could.
Just said he is a Horn who tried his best and doesn't deserve to be treated like ****.
