JerryWorld just blows *** for watching a football game. The place has no soul whatsoever. And I'm not just saying that as an Aggie fan because we've lost there. I've been to numerous Cowboys games there as well. It's bright and shiny and seems like it should be awesome, but it sucks watching a football game there. In most situations, I hate the idea of playing a series off a college campus. The Texas/OU game is the exception to that rule. It's a great setting and the best thing that the Tex/OU decision makers ever made was to refuse to allow that game to be moved to JerryWorld. Had that happened, I guarantee all of you would be begging to take it to a home and home.
Jerry's Death Star is not a great college game venue at all. It absorbs all sound. The bands might as well stay at home.
maybe you're right but i think that LSU has the chance of developing into a more heated rivalry than arkansas.
Agree with Joe, it will be LSU due to location; Southeast Texas recruiting; and dominance of the series by LSU. The pig people seemingly concentrate their Texas recruiting in Northeast Texas, and aggy at least has a shot now of catching a weaker pig team at Pyle.
Joe, LSU is the other team offering the most "natural" rivalry scenario. You guys had a nice little string of games against them at one point about 25 years ago, more or less. But you have a longer history with Arky because of the old SWC. It'll be interesting to see which one of the two catches on first.
