Most all of our recruits are ranked high enough that it won't be a big surprise, but which player do you think will exceed expectations? I think Kendall Sanders will be that guy playing CB.
even though his expectations are threw the roof.... im going to go out on a limb and say Gray. I believe this kid will leave with a Championship and a Heisman
I-35, Mack indicated that Kendall Sanders would play WR at the presser. But, he has the potential to contribute as a FR. and we need all the help at receiver we can get.
I think 2.....Jinkens and Davis. I really dont know why, they just have the look. I look into their eyes and I see meaness. You win with mean angry people. Where have I heard that before?
Bust: Cayleb Jones - I think that his lack of speed and quickness will get him at the college level. Won't get the separation he'll need off the line. Star: Adrian Colbert - As outlined by others. Speed, speed, speed. Has potential to be a harder hitting Michael Huff.
H-D, I just watched a lot of film on Colbert. He s very good at run support. Comes up fast and lays the wood. He's very fast which will make him a possibility for special teams as well. I'm guessing he will be a strong safety because of his aggressiveness. I only seen him in a few plays in coverage and he seem to be right there on the ball. I love the team speed we have on defense and he will fit right in. Kendall might be playing offense but he looks to be even better on defense. I think if we would have landed DGB no doubt he would have been on defense. Without DGB we may have to put him on offense. Either way it's nice having a player that gives us lots of flexibility.
I'll go with the walk-on kick Highland Park Nick. He'll surprise everyone by actually getting touchbacks with regularity.

My pick is Daje Johnson. Kid has serious speed and is a threat at RB and WR and could even possibly run the wildcat formation. Check these hightlights
This isn't a bust thread do saying Cayleb will bust is gratuitous on such a fine day. That said, the kid has crazy good hands. You don't always need straight line speed to be a badass receiver.
I'm going opposite the track and predicting Caleb Jones for upside surprise. He's a tall, well-built target in the Michael Irvin - Chris Carter mold. Both those guys were doubted by the experts because of thier perceived lack of elite speed. Heck, Carter was even cut by Buddy Ryan. But both were very productive for a very long time at every level. Texas had a lot of success with Kwame Cavil, not especially fast for a linebacker, who was converted to a wide receiver and excelled. Cavil had like 4.8-4.9 speed at the NFL combine if I remember correctly.
