And it continues. They have no substances so they turn to one liners and repeat it over and over until it becomes truth with their followers. "War on women" or "The rich needs to pay their fair share" and on and on.

Now the newest one is "Romney lied" in the debate. What did he lie about? I caught several by Obama. But they have not stated what he lied about. They said he has been campaigning that he will have $5 trillion in cuts but they have already had to back off of that because that was the lefts number they came up with. They are just going to repeat liar liar pants on fire because they know they are pandering to the stupid.

Hust simply saying Romney lied over and over without any substances. That's what they do when they feel an election is slipping away. They get desperate. [IMG]

Well, he said that "we've got 23 million people out of work or who have stopped looking for work in this country." I don't know if you call that a lie or a mistake.

Romney also said that "Pre-existing conditions are covered under my plan," which is simply not true.

Those were just two that I caught. I am sure that if you visit any number of debate-scoring sites/articles, you will find more.

But then, they are Republicans and Democrats and we have conditioned them to lie to us. If they don't, we won't elect them. So, ultimately, the problem isn't them, it's us.

Obama can't run on his record, so he has to divert attention from the crappy job that he's done.

Previously it was the "War on Women". Now it's "Romney lied". Tomorrow it will be something else equally misleading.

HE, there are currently over 12 million actually receiving unemployment as we speak. There is no way to come up with the exact amount but it can be estimated it to be around that amount due to population growth. This is not the first month that new unemployment fell way short of population growth. The math has not been adding up for a while now as we are not catching population growth as the unemployment percentage number has been dropping.

And let me add that we haven't even talked about all the part-time workers.

HE- No doubt there are some dubious claims but not quite as dubious as you say.

The 23 M number is a combination of 12.5 M on unemp, 8 M working part time jobs that are seeking full time employment but have exhuasted their unemploy benefits and 2.5 M who have stopped looking. It is factual to state that there are 23 M people who would take full time positions if they were available.

Pre existing conditions is a complicated one. To be perfectly clear, the only health plan Romney ever helped craft and implement included coverage for pre existing conditions. Romney does not v
call for a national health plan like BO does. He favors state plans so he can't really mandate coverages federally but leaves it to states. If a particular state doesnt want to include that coverage, that is there right but Romney will encourage all of them to include it. Just as he did in MA.

The 716 B from medicare isnt even disputed. It is part of the unbelievably bogus accounting used to fund obamacare.

So technically the way Romney worded the answers could be a lie but they are based on actual numbers. Not really stretches as much as the left wants us to believe.

But if we are talking about lies that actually effect you and me, obamacare is the biggest one ever. Its one thing to exagerate in a debate and another to outright lie in actual legislation that gets passed into law. When BO championed the act before it was voted on he claimed that it would actually REDUCE the deficit over 10 years. The CBO score agreed but with a disclaimer that the numbers had impossible assumptions in them but that the CBO had to use them by law. Now CBO says the Act will cost $1.1 Trillion over 10 years. BO lied and missed his number by over a TRILLION dollars and the most expensive parts of the plan arent even in affect yet. Those are lies that cost us serious money.

Ask yourself one thing- on any matter relating to finance who would you trust to tell the truth BO or Romney?

If anybody knows anything about people being untruthful, it is their demeanor. Romney didn't lie and it was evident in the debate, Obama's web of lies is cathing up with him, and it showed in the debate.

HE, I can tell when you are losing an argument because you become desperate and start calling names. Let me write this in crayons for you.

    1) You are not counting all the unemployed that got extended benefits from late 2009 to mid 2011. Those people weren't even looking for jobs at that time due to receiving benefit which overlapped with all the new unemployed. They will not show up as unemployed now. I'm sure some have got jobs now but you are trying to dismiss them completely.

    2) You need to do your research and watch something else besides msnbc. They will not tell you about that $700 plus billion going to Obamacare. Obama does not dispute this. What he does is claim Romney is doing the same thing by what has been written by Paul Ryan. What I was trying to explain to you is R&R will take out almost that much money but isn't spending it on other things such as what Obama did with Obamacare. They want to re-invest that money but it's still intended for Medicare at a later date.

NPR THINKS 22 million are un/under employed.
More than 12 million Americans are unemployed, according to this morning's big jobs report.

But that doesn't include people who are working part-time because they can't find full-time work. Nor does it include people who want a job but haven't looked for one in the past month.

A less widely reported measure — sometimes called broader unemployment, or U-6 — includes both those groups. Some 22 million people fall into this category.

That number has come down a bit over the past few years. But, as the following graph shows, it's still much closer to where it was at the depth of the recession than to where it was at the peak of the boom/bubble of the mid aughts.

I hope Romney lied when he said pre-existing conditions would be covered. Maybe the government can borrow more money from China and do this, but why should any insurance company do this? People gamble when they choose not to have insurance. I'm pretty sure that if I chose not to pay the thousands of dollars I pay annually for home insurance, no one would agree to cover my losses if I tried to get insurance the day after a fire. HE- I was hoping this would be an actual intellectual back and forth with you, but sadly it isn't.
