There's nobody in the business better at making money than Texas, but they are just awful when they take the field.

So, who would be a good replacement for Mack?

Screw this "we have all this talent crap". Raw talent would have a better showing than this. Coaching sucks but I don't ascribe to this talent stuff anymore either.

Well at least my Saturdays are free for awhile now. Lhn has been bad karma all the way around.

sadly it looks like some of our offensive players can tackle better than the defense... [IMG]

This has to be one of the most poorly coached, talentless group of players Texas has fielded in probably 20+ years. And ultimately it all rests on Mack.

Coach dont do your legacy any more damage, seriously, announce that you will retire at the end of the season and be done with it.

Oh Man, it just hit me that now I won't be able to get anything for my TCU Thanksgiving Day ticket.

Where's HP! Ohhh I do want your football wisdom. Give me one reason why we fire Davis and not Brown? Mack Brown is not even a top 30 coach. Come on someone defend him. Tell me how he doesn't make the tackles or have to execute the plays. We have a kid that never played college football running our D. Is Brown not responsible for that? He is old and beyond his time. Fire Mack.

Don't worry kids. Mack took a lot of notes in the 1st half. Every time they put the camera on him, he was writing. So, I'm sure adjustments will be made. I'll bet we even SCORE in the second half or at least string a couple of 1st downs together.

Wow, what will Hpslugger's Grading the Team's Performance look like for this one 0/14, 0/14, 0/14?

I'm watching the K-State vs Iowa State. I'm just amazed at how Paul Rhodes can do SO much more with so much less. I wish we had someone like that. [IMG]

Looks like instead of 8-4 we have a good chance to finish 4-8, maybe 6-6 if we can beat Kansas and TCU. Sick, sick, sick!!

Texas finally gets a break - half time.

At least ou won't be scoring for the next 15-20 minutes....

We put in Daje Johnson run two plays for a first down. We take him out and we go three and out.

We get rid of aggy. So how does Brown redeem his season? Oh yeah, the old practice coach will tell us Oklahoma is a top 5 program.

WOW, OU had 17 first downs for 407 yds of offense at half compared to our 63 and three first downs. What an abortion.

I am beginning to really question Mack and his coaches talent evaluation in recruiting talent evaluation. We don't appear to be on the same level as ou.

Stop pretending it is a talent evaluation issue. We have talent but a head coach that lacks passion. Remember he was upset for a year that we lost to Alabama. Brown is weak, overpaid and the key part of our "entitlement" mindset. $4 million my ***.

About about we send Fera back to Penn State while we're at it. He's injured forever and now that he finally sees the field he can't even make an extra point.

I don't think we have a talent problem. I think we have a coaching problem and it starts at the top.

The defense should wear pink skirts. That is how they play.

Talent has never been the problem, it's been the excuse. Just like Mack saying we have a young defense when we have eight junior starters and two seniors that get significant playing time. That's not young my friends.

I consistently see teams take scraps of leftover players no one else wanted and way overachieve their expected potential. All I see here is a bunch of wasted talent on the field.

Just when I got my hopes up that we may actually pass 100 yds of total offense, Ash fumbles away the ball. OU about to score yet again!!

How bad does it have to be before it makes a difference? Will 70 be the final straw? Doubt it.

Brown you should be ashamed. You are an embarrassment and not worthy of the burnt orange. Leave please you are not wanted.

Just when it seemed it couldn't get any worse, this happens to Brandon Moore. What a horrible, horrible day all the way around.

Ya know, fact is no one is scared of Texas anymore, no one. Not even New Mexico - New Mexico for crying out loud. Even they had big plays against us, and never quit.
