Congrats. I hope I am wrong, but expect the divide to exponentially increase. For me, I hope Las Vegas unemployment soars beyond 30%.

I will not spend a dollar there over the next four years or do business with anyone in Ohio. Wallow in your government subsidies while the rest of us protect personal assets, hire nobody due to taxes and uncertainty and move money into protected assets.

We have said all that needs to be said. The next four years will speak for themselves. $16T and counting. At least Texas got it right. [IMG]

And so begins the Dependency Stage in ernest to be followed by the Bondage Stage at some point later.

It gives me great satisfaction and pride to be totally opposed to the fundamental transformation towards centralized national socialism and command marxism that Obama will further impose on us the next four years.

I feel the significance of this election's outcome ultimately is the guarantee that at some future point, perhaps a decade or two, mass civil violence will take place, whether it be in the form of civil war, revolution or disintegration into anarchy.

The only thing Obama will suceed at redistributing to you pinkos equally is poverty and misery.

Budgeted for next fiscal year. Check out many of the restaraunt chains as well as other public companies. Not only will medical benefits be cut,, we will likely lay of more than 10% of our labor force after the holidays.

    Unemployment will skyrocket in 2013.

Bitter? Yes. Those of us who worked hard, educated ourselves and took risks only to have the government confiscate it and give it to those who didn't is a hard pill to swallow.

However, I will jump on board. Let's put a $1.00 tax per post on message boards and a $1.00 tax on email as well. I will shutter the doors and ride it out until you guys start marching in the streets wondering where your free education, medical benefits and food are.

    Happy days are here again!

From what I read the electorate is wanting a centerist government that intelligently adresses challenges. The GOP vision for America was based on some mythology that doesn't ring true. The answer is in the middle. Alas I fear we will continue to have government by fighting ideologues.

Hey ii, you need to look at the bright side. No longer do we have to save money or be fiscally responsible! I'm going to blow all my money on travel. Then when it is gone, I too can be on the government teat. I payed taxes for way too long anyway. Now that I am retired what do I care? Screw the next few generations - not my problem! I kinda like this!

Hey, Vol - get with it! Not having to pay for stuff is great! All this time we believed in responsibility - what a waste. I'm pissed that I bought my own cell phone and have been paying for my own health insurance for 40 years. What a fool I was - now I get it all free!! I wish I had voted for BO, but I know I will still get everything for free anyway. Yippee!

You know that getting "free stuff" or other economic policies are not what brought Obama victory. Single young women genuinely fear what a republican administration would mean to reproductive freedom. The Republican Party is dug in on the wrong side of gay rights. Cheer your vote suppressors, but in the grand scheme of Democracy those who love "fair play" aren't excited by seeing folks in mostly Democratic areas of Florida have inexplicibly and inexcuseably long lines. Cynical efforts to harrass voters make you look like a "bad guy." Also, if you take Fox News as "Fair and Balanced" and can't believe their "Benghazi is bigger than Watergate" scandal mongering gained no traction,I'll let you in on a secret. A lot of folks remember this is the channel that had boosterish roundtable discussions with "Obama was born in Kenya" theorists long after everybody had plenty of evidence to recognize it as complete BS. If a restaurant serves up bs on one visit, I'm not so excited to come by for a serving of deeply discounted "shepherd's pie." If you are a shameless shill for the hard right, you'll never have any credence outside the bubble of people who think four people sitting around and finding new ways to say "Obama is the worst president ever" is a useful way to inform themselves.

I bought a Rosetta Stone Chinese today on my credit card. No since paying cash. I plan to divest all of my business interests, quit my job and jump on the government tit. Worse case scenario, I will apply at the company Chango owns. He knows everything about running a business. [IMG]

Congrats to BO. I wanted the other guy but he lost. I sincerely hope BO will move towards the middle and actually try and include the repubs in reforms.

Crockett I love how you guys spin things like "reproductive freedom" or "access to health care" as if Republicans are strapping chastity belts on women and blocking the doors to the local Walgreens. Reproductive freedom to you guys must mean go screw all you want because we'll either give you free contraception or free abortions.

Republicans are probably just guilty of trying to prevent the moral decay of society but that's probably like standing in front of a freight train. Personal responsibility is a lost art isn't it? Why be responsible when Papa Obama will give me free condoms and abortions to facilitate my promiscuous nature?

No responsibility, no accountability, no work ethic, no morals, nothing is sacred, anything goes, if it feels good do it...aahhh the new America.
