Definite throwdown with both sides landing heavy blows. Until Phillips and Thompson take a seat at safety or improve an ounce in tackling and coverage over 2012, points will be readily available. Not to mention I'm not close to sold the d-line can show well against much better talent than the guys last week who pushed them around some. The defense still has big questions to answer against a strong offensive attack. I'm ok with the offense as to me the slow start was largely due to being opening game and new offensive methods/schemes to get used to in live action. I just watched the BYU - Virginia game replay on the Longhorn Network. I know it rained, but it was done by the 4th quarter. Neither of these teams look good offensively. Texas - 56 Bringham Young - 21
23-17 Texas. We are playing the school which featured the #2 defense in the nation last year, and many players are well over average college age due to spending time in their farm system, er, missionary program. Not an easy game.
