He is still she'll shocked from that game. He's literally been in a daze ever since.

He hasn't snapped out of it, that's for sure.

That game highlighted the mistake of not preparing a backup QB in case the number one guy gets injured. He's living with that, and we are paying for it.

the simple fact is that Vince and Colt carried this team for 7 years. the minute those guys were gone, it was game over. they could put up enough points to deal with a bad defense. Even our National Championship team couldn't stop the run. Lendale White destroyed our defense by gashing us up the middle. Vince had it in him to put up 41 points on USC. Colt had it in him to put up 45 points on OU in 2008, when our defense could not stop Bradford.

Until we end up with a game changer at QB, we will not sniff double digit wins under Mack Brown

I'd be willing to pay Nick Saban 10 mil a year to lure him away from Alabama

    What Bayerithe said.

Mack struck gold, not once, but twice, with VY and Colt. The problems have been there all along and growing, but some very special talent was masking it.

And don't forget - the only reason we even played in that game was because of a 0:00 50 yard field goal kicked by one great kid in a moment of pure, almost fictional incredibility.

I'm tired of hearing how he WAS affected by that game (as an excuse for his failures last year, or the year before that, or the year before that) but now he's gotten over it. He's got a clear head, he's got a spring in his step, he's enjoying coaching again. ********. Mack at his peak was never as good as advertised. He's clearly done, no matter what he says. No matter how low this program sinks, he'll keep saying that he now is enjoying coaching and wants to right the ship. When what is good for the program is no longer your first priority, it's time to be shown the door. That time was at least 12-24 months ago.
